When your new KiwiProp arrives, it is a simple matter of prelubricating the blade shafts and mounting the blades.  This procedure is outlined below and does not require much in the way of tools or mechanical aptitude.  A hammer and a phillips screw driver and some common sense.  Mounting the propeller on your vessel will vary depending on whether it is a shaft or sail drive, but the simplicity remains, simply slide it on and using a 1/2" socket drive in most cases, tighten up the supplied nut.  Apply some loctite to the set screws and tighten them.  The props are so easy to install that many owners remove them in the offseason, or while on the hard to reduce theft.
